OIL WELLS IN OIL TOWN!

DRILL FOR OIL

Draw and lay out connectable cards to prepare for drilling.

STRIKE IT RICH

Roll your dice and form dice chains to take use of as many connections as possible to bring the oil up the well.

HELPING HANDS

Use your remaining dice on helper and expert cards with various effects.

Besides the standard competitive mode you will also be able to play a challenging solo mode against a smooth to manage card-controlled opponent.

Due to the different preferences we have implemented two different types of player interaction cards (positive interaction and direct confrontation), of which the players choose the one that matches their preferred type (or use both combined for even more player interaction).

We tried something new to give all players involved a satisfying reward after the game ends – even if they lost. Therefore we implemented various story endings: depending on the oil earned, the winner sets the story frame, in which the other players still play their own surprising role.

Even though we know that oil can be a controversial topic in today’s world, we hope that the 19th century time frame and the cheerful art can remind us of the positive things made possible by the early oil explorers.
